Abstract: Plant phenology can directly reflect the effects of climate change, and is the key for vegetation dynamics modeling. With the development of remote sensing and modeling techniques, the relationships between plant phenology and global climate change have been increasingly concerned by scientists. From the aspects of the relationships between plant phenology and environmental factors, the responses of plant phenology to global change, and the remote sensing monitoring of plant phenology, this paper reviewed the research advances in plant phenology, with the shortages of plant phenology research and the trends for future research put forward.
