Abstract: The ultrastructure of different tissues of diseased crabs in cultured prawn ponds is observed by using TEM.Anumber of baculovirus are found in cell nuclei of liver, stomach, intestine and muscle of diseased crabs. No difference in aspect of viral shape, size and other characterictics, such as infecting nuclei and absence of inclusion bodies between baculovirus found in diseased crabs and those in Penales chinensis was observed.
