Effect of water and fertilizer on economic properties of winter wheat in Loess Plateau galley regions

Abstract: Field experiment shows that in Loess Plateau galley regions, the most important limiting factor for wheat growth was fertilizer instead of water. With irrigation, fertilization had a significant positive effect on the economic properties of winter wheat, while irrigation could have a positive effect only when the fertilizer was applied.
