Preliminary study on the biomass of Miscanthus sinensis community on loess plateau of north Shanxi Province

Abstract: Seasonal and spatial dynamics of above- and underground biomass of Misothus sinensis community are studied.The results show that its aboveground biomass is maximum inthe second ten days of August, and its underground one is minimum during reviving andmaximum during withering period, which is related to the developmental stage and thetransport of substances.
