Transportation and transformation of14C-phenanthrene in a controlled nutrient solution lava wheat system

Abstract: With isotopic techniques, the transportation and transformation of 14C-phenanthrene in a controlled nutrient solution(NS)-lava wheat system was conducted. The results suggest that after applied for 24 days, 14C-phenanthrene in the controlled system degraded fast, and only 0.32 % of it remained in the plant, NSand lava. Most of 14C activity absorbed by plant was incorporated in plant tissues, and the remains existed prominantly as polar metabolites of phenanthrene.
